Borough of Peapack and Gladstone Honor Caesar DePaço and the DePaço Foundation
The Borough of Peapack and Gladstone, in the State of New Jersey, held on December 22, 2025, an official public recognition ceremony honoring Cesar DePaço and the DePaço Foundation, following the municipal proclamation approved on the same date, in acknowledgment of the donation of a fully equipped police vehicle to the local Police Department.
The proclamation, signed by the Mayor, highlights Cesar DePaço’s sustained record of philanthropic support for law enforcement agencies throughout the United States, with particular emphasis on the State of New Jersey. Although the DePaço Foundation was formally established in the recent past, the proclamation expressly recognizes that Cesar DePaço’s personal commitment to strengthening the operational capabilities of law enforcement extends back more than a decade. This long standing support has been carried out primarily through Summit Nutritionals International Inc., which has facilitated assistance to numerous municipal police departments, sheriff’s offices, and state law enforcement agencies across the United States.
The Municipal Council further noted that Cesar DePaço is a local resident who, over the years, has consistently supported the Peapack and Gladstone Police Department through prior charitable contributions. The need for the acquisition of a new police vehicle, with an estimated cost approaching one hundred thousand dollars, was formally identified by municipal authorities and promptly addressed by Cesar DePaço. Through the DePaço Foundation, he provided full funding for the vehicle, which is intended to enhance the operational capacity of law enforcement services within the municipality and Somerset County.
During the formal session held on December 22, 2025, the Municipality publicly expressed its appreciation and profound gratitude for this contribution, emphasizing its positive impact on the public interest, community safety, and the strengthening of cooperation between civil society and law enforcement institutions.
