Harrisonburg Police Department Officer, Tim Wright, works with his new K-9 dog, Doerak, searching for drugs in a car during training Wednesday afternoon. Summit Nutritionals ®, a New Jersey-based company, donated $12,000 for the new police dog.

Doerak, a 3-year-old male Belgian malinois, is the newest addition to Harrisonburg Police Department. He is a dual-purpose K-9 trained in narcotics search and patrol.
